Nigel P Meredith I really enjoyed the sublime music on this album. It's kind of haunting and yet beautiful. I love it! Favorite track: Evil In Our Minds.

fran3000 Slowly evolving synth washes and spiraling melodies permeate these tracks as they document the history of Salisbury's hometown with equal amounts of nostalgic awe and foreboding for its future well being. Social complexities mix with the mysticism of folk and urban tales that would easily serve as the soundtrack to the weirdest of X-Files episodes. This is the kind of music the protagonist kids from Stranger Things would probably listen to exclusively, after everything they've gone through. Favorite track: Our Winter Fields.

Tom Herdman Only heard one track so far from the MadWaspRadio mix. But what a track! Look forward to this.

Jace Allmon The warbley textures and the beat on this song...well, they just slap! Such a beautiful collection of sounds. Favorite track: Evil In Our Minds.

about

Fresh from recent releases on Shadowtrash and Inner Space Travels (as well as a stunning contribution to THE MONDRIANS), David Salisbury’s (Camp of Wolves) newest work is a geographical memory-piece based on his experiences growing up in the Cedar Hills neighborhood of Whalley, BC. While deeply nostalgic for a time and place when 'cats, dogs and kids roamed freely', the album is also rife with the fear and paranoia of a community stained by domestic abuse, police violence, and addiction. By filtering these real world memories through a prism of children's urban legends and folktales, Salisbury has crafted an aural experience of occultish beauty and dream-like dread.
